Launched under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” announced the commencement of the first evaluation phase of the Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship’s fourth edition, which is part of the awards’ preliminary process.
The Chief Executive of the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi inaugurated the Bahraini National Pavilion at Dubai’s GITEX 2019, with 60 Bahraini ICT companies and startups taking part in the pavilion.
The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has signed an agreement with Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, to launch a new internship program that brings global technology expertise to more individuals across Bahrain.
Tamkeen (Labour Fund) announced a major revamp of the evaluation and support mechanisms and procedures of the training and certification programs. The revamp come as part of the third phase of its current Transformation Strategy 2018-2020, which aims to update the training solutions it provides to maximise the impact of the support on the development of individuals and enterprises.
Tamkeen and Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) has once again joined hands in bringing Bahrain ICT companies and startups to the biggest technology event in the region, GITEX, marking the 13th year of Bahrain Pavilion.
