About the Program
This program supports enterprises with comprehensive guidance and resources to enable them to successfully enter new markets through franchising. Franchising allows businesses to scale their national presence and access international markets while limiting the associated costs and risks of overseas expansion.
This program is provided in partnership with iFranchise Group, a leading franchise consultancy firm that has worked with top-ranked companies in the world since its establishment in 2006.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license
- The enterprise has its head office located in Bahrain
- Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA
- Enterprise must not have the activity of a Holding Company as the only activity
- The enterprise has a franchisable concept
- Local enterprises that have franchised already and are eager to expand into new markets (eligible for Track 2 only)
- The enterprise must be willing to close a franchise deal upon completion of the program

Support Mechanism:
We will support 100% of the costs of the franchising consultancy program provided by iFranchise Group.

The program duration is one year, during which the selected enterprises will receive comprehensive support and guidance from iFranchise experts.

The program offers tailored support, including a comprehensive franchise readiness audit, the development of franchising systems that include the creation of a strategic planning report, writing of the franchise operations manual, and the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies for the enterprise’s franchising endeavor.

The consultancy services included in this program are fully sponsored by Tamkeen as part of Tamkeen’s Business Franchising Program to support business growth through franchising.

International enterprises are not eligible to apply for Tamkeen’s Business Franchising Program as we are focusing on enterprises with local brands and local presence only.

Yes, existing franchise businesses can apply as long as they are a Bahraini founded brands that can further benefit from other consulting services offered by iFranchise to enhance their operations and growth strategies and expand into new markets.
