HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa meets with officials from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), met today with Vinay Hebbar, Head of Corporate Learning and International Markets and a member of the Executive Committee at Harvard Business Publishing, Caroline Wright, Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Harvard Business Publishing, and Her Excellency Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, Chief Executive of Tamkeen, at Riffa Palace. 

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the support extended to the national workforce by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through harnessing all resources and opportunities to upskill and enhance their professional growth. 

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman affirmed the importance of investing in Bahrainis, emphasising that this is key to ensuring a prosperous future for the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Highness reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to upskilling Bahraini citizens, fostering their development through training programmes, and equipping them with the necessary resources and capabilities. 

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman was then briefed on the progress plan of the Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning Leadership Skills Program, one of the programmes launched under Tamkeen’s leadership initiatives in cooperation with leading global training institutions. 

His Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to adopt and implement innovative initiatives and programmes that equip Bahrainis with the necessary skills and knowledge to in line with the evolving requirements of the Kingdom’s vibrant labour market. 

His Highness stressed the importance of further strengthening joint cooperation with global educational institutions and bodies to support the empowerment of Bahrainis and achieve the Kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations. 

During the meeting, frameworks of cooperation and future opportunities were reviewed, and topics of common interest were also discussed.
