Tamkeen Signs agreement with BFA to support the training and employment of Bahrainis in the Sports sector

Tamkeen signed an agreement with Bahrain Football Association (BFA) to support the training and employment of Bahrainis in the sports sector. Under this agreement Tamkeen will support training for a number of Bahrainis and will provide them with professional certificates in various fields such as coaching, physical therapy, accounting and others, to equip them with the necessary skills to work in various sports clubs.

Tamkeen Signs MOU with Entrepreneurs Organization for “EO Accelerator Program”

As part of Tamkeen’s strategy efforts to continuously support the economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain through several programs which include supporting Bahraini entrepreneurs to develop their businesses, development and promotion of entrepreneurial environment. “Tamkeen” signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) for the Accelerator Program, aiming to expand businesses in Bahrain by offering a systematic package of advisory services which suits the requirements of Bahraini entrepreneurs to reach a turnover of one million USD and above by the end of the program period which will last for 3 years.

“Tamkeen” has signed today a memorandum of understanding with “Fives” a global engineering industrial group to discuss aspects of cooperation to train and specialize Bahrainis in the industrial sector, in presence of H.E. Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, French Ambassador in Bahrain.

In partnership with Ithmaar Bank, Tamkeen launched “Tamweel Plus (Tamweel⁺)” financing scheme, with a cumulative portfolio of BHD 20 million.

The scheme, which offers financing at a competitive profit rate, aims to support medium-sized and large enterprises to help them innovate, expand and diversify.

Tamkeen Holds Annual Consultation Forum on its 10th Anniversary

Tamkeen held its annual consultation forum on Monday, December 5, 2016, which coincided with the organisation’s 10th anniversary. Amid impressive attendance, the forum, themed, “A Decade of Dedication for a Better Bahrain”, presented Tamkeen’s achievements in the past 10 years, highlighting the importance of collecting feedback and suggestions from the public and all stakeholders. Tamkeen believes in the need for direct public communication in order to enhance operations and ensure that they meet the needs of all labour market segments.
