As part of its efforts to bolster the Kingdom of Bahrain's status on the global entrepreneurship landscape and promote the entrepreneurial culture locally, Tamkeen is preparing to host Bahrain’s 4th Global Entrepreneurship Week from 17 – 24 November 2019, in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Bahrain “GEN Bahrain”.
As part of its efforts to directly engage Bahrain’s various sectors, Tamkeen (Labour Fund) held a meeting with a broad cross-section of representatives of the local art community, including artists and professionals and enthusiasts. The meeting’s purpose was to discuss how to enhance the services and support solutions Tamkeen provides to cater to this emerging sector and advance its growth.

The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has signed an agreement with Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, to launch a new internship program that brings global technology expertise to more individuals across Bahrain.
The Chief Executive of the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi inaugurated the Bahraini National Pavilion at Dubai’s GITEX 2019, with 60 Bahraini ICT companies and startups taking part in the pavilion.
