Tamkeen kicks off the Business Turnaround Program through cooperation with American Group “AIAC”

The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) signed a new strategic cooperation agreement with the American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC), a global organization specialized in company turnaround, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and improving non-performing enterprises as well as enterprises that are performing below their full potential. AIAC brings decades of turnaround expertise and will provide advisory support as part of Tamkeen’s recently launched program Business Turnaround that aims to empower enterprises to transform their business models in response to major organizational, market, technology and financial challenges and opportunities. The Business Turnaround program is among the 16 programs Tamkeen launched recently as part of an organization-wide strategic transformation plan which focuses on creating greater impact for the national economy in response to market needs.

The Labor Fund (Tamkeen) held a meeting with a number of enterprises operating in the logistics sector as part of its strategy to improve the performance of the various economic sectors, and enhance their contribution to the national economy. During the meeting, opportunities for growth within the sector were discussed, as well as ways for enterprises to benefit from Tamkeen’s support for the objectives of investment, employment, and training local talent, which in turn, contributes to improving their productivity and sustainability and assists in their expansion and development plans.

The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) established a strategic partnership with SANS Institute to provide quality training in cybersecurity for hundreds of Bahrainis starting with 200 graduates over the next 2 years. This initiative is in line with Tamkeen’s strategic direction and comes as a response to the market needs that require high quality and specialized tech training opportunities for Bahrainis, and the pressing need for qualified professionals within the cybersecurity field. These opportunities will help upskill and reskill Bahrainis to fill this gap and establish sustainable career paths in the technology sector.
