Tamkeen's Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi confirmed that Tamkeen is currently in the midst of revamping the Enterprise Development Program and Training and Wage Support programs, in line with its efforts to enhancing the sustainability of the impact of the support and maximizing their benefits as per market requirements.
Thirty teams taking part in Tamkeen’s Youth Business Awards “Mashroo3i” have been qualified for the finale of the competition. The qualified teams are expected during this phase of the competition to work on the development and preparation of their business prototypes. Towards the end of this phase, three winners will be selected for the first three places, as all 30 teams’ prototypes will be displayed in a public exhibition which will be held between February and March of this year. During the public exhibition, the prototypes will be evaluated by a separate panel of judges whose members will be announced soon.
Bahrain FinTech Bay and the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” announced in a press conference yesterday the launch of its FinTech Talent Program focused on the training and development of Bahrainis and is the first and only of its kind in the Middle East.
In line with its efforts to support all sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain and increase their contribution to the national economy, Tamkeen emphasized the importance of fostering the arts sector, one of the many promising sectors in the kingdom.
Tamkeen announced that it is about to embark on the next phase of its 2018-2020 strategy, which will focus on maximising the impact of the support opportunities to enable the development of individuals and enterprise.
