The Chief Executive of Tamkeen Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi inaugurated today the Bahraini National Pavilion at GITEX 2018.
40 companies representing IT and telecommunications sector and 20 start-ups along with three government agencies are taking part in the event. The participating government bodies included: the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the E-Government Authority
A new scheme that aims to enhance the efficiency and security of business operations in the country has been launched. The financial support scheme from the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” covers the cost of cloud computing services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for interested and eligible enterprises, SMEs, and start-ups. The support will cover the reimbursement of 100 percent of the cost of the services for the initial 18 months of the three-year contract with Tamkeen.
The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) signed an agreement with Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) to support 40 enterprises take part in the Bahraini National Pavilion (BNP) at GITEX2018.
In order to support job seekers improve their skills and enhance their employment opportunities in the labor market, Tamkeen has announced the launch of its Internship Scheme which provides interns with the opportunity to gain practical experience through a training period with an institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has recently held a session titled “Fostering Entrepreneurship & Innovation to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals” at the sidelines of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) at the United Nation’s headquarters in New York.
