Tamkeen and the Bahrain Development Bank signed an agreement to launch a BD 20 million portfolio within the Tamweel Plus program to finance medium and large enterprises in compliance with Islamic Sharia. The agreement was signed by the respective CEOs of Tamkeen and Bahrain Development Bank, His Excellency Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi and His Excellency Mr. Sattam Sulaiman Algosaibi.
Tamkeen and Al Salam Bank-Bahrain have signed a portfolio worth BD 20,000,000 within the Sharia-compliant financing program “Tamweel+” which was recently launched by Tamkeen with a competitive profit rate.
The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” has announced adding a range of professional certificates specialized in “Cloud Computing” in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the leading company in Cloud Services.
Tamkeen held a “Community Partnership” event, within its endeavors to build bridges of communication with all segments of society. During the event, Tamkeen welcomed the attendees and acquainted them with the most prominent accomplishments made during the past period.
Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, Bahrain will host the 18th edition of the World Productivity Congress under the theme “New Roads to Innovation and Higher Productivity.”
Tamkeen signed an agreement with Bahrain Football Association (BFA) to support the training and employment of Bahrainis in the sports sector. Under this agreement Tamkeen will support training for a number of Bahrainis and will provide them with professional certificates in various fields such as coaching, physical therapy, accounting and others, to equip them with the necessary skills to work in various sports clubs.
