Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2019 Successfully Launched at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre

In cooperation with ‘Tamkeen’, The Global Entrepreneurship Network kicked off its first day of activities of the 11th Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) 2019, with His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister in attendance.

Over 110 sessions and over 240 local, regional and global speakers to be hosted during the event. Attended by over 3000 visitors from over 170 countries, the event is hosted for the first time in the Kingdom and has brought together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and economic policymakers from around the world.

Thirty “Mashroo3i” Teams qualify for the Final Stage of the Competition

Thirty teams taking part in Tamkeen’s Youth Business Awards “Mashroo3i” have been qualified for the finale of the competition. The qualified teams are expected during this phase of the competition to work on the development and preparation of their business prototypes. Towards the end of this phase, three winners will be selected for the first three places, as all 30 teams’ prototypes will be displayed in a public exhibition which will be held between February and March of this year. During the public exhibition, the prototypes will be evaluated by a separate panel of judges whose members will be announced soon.
