Tamkeen and Mowgli Foundation Bring Together Bahraini Entrepreneurs with Trained Mentors

As part of Tamkeen’s range of Advisory services, Tamkeen and Mowgli Foundation concluded a four day Kickstart workshop which successfully matched 15 Bahraini entrepreneurs with 15 trained mentors.  This workshop was the first milestone of the Mowgli Mentoring Experience programme (MME), a year long mentoring relationship designed to empower entrepreneurs and develop their personal and business capabilities.

Tamkeen Participates in University Career Fairs

As part of its continued efforts to support Bahrainis throughout their developmental stages, Tamkeen participated in several career fairs at various universities including the University of Bahrain, Gulf University and the Royal University for Women. Tamkeen’s participation in the career fairs comes in  support of youth empowerment through vocational training and skills development.

Tamkeen Holds Orientation Session with Students of Higher Education Institutions

Tamkeen, in partnership with the Higher Education Council, recently organised an orientation session with different students of Bahrain’s higher education institutions. The session, in line with Tamkeen’s ongoing efforts to support Bahrainis throughout all stages of development and to enhance their skills development, was held at the Westin Hotel and saw the participation of 30 student council representatives from 11 universities and educational institutions

Tamkeen Holds Session with Human Resources Directors

Tamkeen held a session with a number Human Resources directors to discuss shared experiences and potential areas for partnership and cooperation to further develop the capabilities and skills of Bahrainis in various fields and industries. The session also included a number of discussions that highlighted best practices and case studies that have had a significant impact on developing the capabilities of Bahrain’s workforce.

Intelaaq: A remarkable prospect for young Bahraini professionals

The Tamkeen Intelaaq programme aims to provide flexible training opportunities to help Bahrainis develop their skills and progress in their careers. The programme consists of a 15-week course during which business university students apply their theoretical and academic knowledge in an actual work environment by providing consultancy services to a number of major companies in Bahrain.
