Tamkeen recently held the first networking session for participants of the third Mashroo3i Youth Business Award program, where alumni met with key members of the Kingdom’s prominent organizations. The first of its kind event, featured 60 Mashroo3i alumni connecting with representatives from Bahrain Development Bank, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, Tenmou and UNIDO, as well as Mashroo3i’s panel of mentors and judges in attendance.
Tamkeen announced the revamp of its successful Basic Skills Certifications Scheme, designed to equip Bahrainis with crucial skill sets for future employment. The program comes as part of Tamkeen’s efforts to provide Bahrainis with the core skills to make them the employee of choice and build their capabilities throughout their developmental stages.
Tamkeen and Al Baraka Islamic Bank have signed an agreement to increase their joint small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) finance portfolio from BHD10 million to BHD20 million. The top-up is part of the two organisations’ efforts to provide sharia-compliant finance solutions to SMEs and emerging enterprises, helping them achieve their development an and growth goals.
