Two Bahrainis to take part in the international Pitch@Palace competition to be held in the UK

A delegation of Bahraini entrepreneurs has concluded their participation in the boot camp organized as part of Pitch@Palace Global, which is taking place from the period 10th to 13th December at St. James' Palace in London, UK. Their participation comes after winning the local and GCC qualifying rounds which took place in Bahrain in April and Abu Dhabi in October.

The Chief Executive of Tamkeen Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi inaugurated today the Bahraini National Pavilion at GITEX 2018.

40 companies representing IT and telecommunications sector and 20 start-ups along with three government agencies are taking part in the event. The participating government bodies included: the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the E-Government Authority and  the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”.

Tamkeen reveals the launch of its Cloud Computing Services support program for businesses

A new scheme that aims to enhance the efficiency and security of business operations in the country has been launched.  The financial support scheme from the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” covers the cost of cloud computing services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for interested and eligible enterprises, SMEs, and start-ups. The support will cover the reimbursement of 100 percent of the cost of the services for the initial 18 months of the three-year contract with Tamkeen.
