Tamkeen held a session with a number Human Resources directors to discuss shared experiences and potential areas for partnership and cooperation to further develop the capabilities and skills of Bahrainis in various fields and industries. The session also included a number of discussions that highlighted best practices and case studies that have had a significant impact on developing the capabilities of Bahrain’s workforce.
The Tamkeen Intelaaq programme aims to provide flexible training opportunities to help Bahrainis develop their skills and progress in their careers. The programme consists of a 15-week course during which business university students apply their theoretical and academic knowledge in an actual work environment by providing consultancy services to a number of major companies in Bahrain.
Tamkeen, in collaboration with Mowgli Foundation, organised a mentorship awareness workshop for participating mentors and mentees. The session, in-line with Tamkeen’s continuous efforts to support enterprises and individuals throughout their developmental stages, aims to introduce the Mowgli mentoring programme to the attendees and raise awareness of Tamkeen’s Advisory Services Programme.
A Tamkeen team led by Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi met with BCCI’s Old Souq Committee to discuss potential collaborations to meet the needs of the souq’s merchants.
As part of Tamkeen’s Advisory Services and its ongoing efforts to reach different segments and provide Bahrainis with the skills to become employees of choice in the private sector, Tamkeen held its fourth public guidance session under the theme “Start Your Business”.
The 45th International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO) conference and exhibition concluded its 3-day activities, with the participation of over 400 delegates from 36 countries.
