About the Program
This program offers enterprises support with their training costs to upskill and develop their human capital with the aim of improving their competencies and capabilities to become more productive, and help enterprises grow, remain competitive, and retain talented employees.

Eligibility Criteria
For enterprises:
- Enterprise must have an active CR/license
- Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA
For employees:
- Employee must be a Bahraini National
- Employee must be registered in SIO in the same CR/Branch

Support Mechanism
We will support 100% of the training program costs such as exam fees, membership fees, study materials and tuition where applicable and up to the approved cap amount, for the following training types:
- Professional Certifications
- Accredited Certificates for
- Specialized/Technical Skills
- Leadership & Management Skills
- In-House Training – Excluding Soft Skills
In addition, we will support 50% of the training program costs such as exam fees, membership fees, study materials and tuition where applicable and up to the approved cap amount, for the following training types:
- Accredited Certifications – Soft Skills
- Local Certificates (Achievements)

Enterprise:

Employee:

What are the steps required after obtaining the support approval?
After receiving the approval, the enterprise needs to provide confirmation on the program terms and conditions through the portal, then the employee starts the training program.
After the employee completes the program and receives the certificate, the enterprise/training provider needs to submit the payment request through the portal.

Can the employee apply for the Professional Certification Program while being enrolled in the Enterprise Training Support Program by their employer?
Yes, the employee can apply for the Professional Certification Program at the same time they are enrolled in the Enterprise Training Support Program.

When can the enterprise/training provider submit the payment request for the cost of the training course?
The payment request can be submitted through the portal upon the successful completion of the training program.

What happens if the employee withdraws from the program or doesn’t pass the exam or assessment required to obtain the certificate?
We will only cover the cost of the training program upon successful completion of the program and achieving the certificate from the awarding body. The exams can be repeated if necessary, however we will not cover the cost of booking repeat exams.
