Supporting enterprises to employ and promote Bahraini talent in mid and executive leadership roles

  • About the Program

    This program aims to empower Bahrainis to advance in their careers by providing wage support/increment for enterprises looking to employ Bahrainis in mid and executive jobs in the private sector.

    This enables enterprises to employ and promote talented individuals to assume leadership roles, thus helping Bahrainis progress in their careers. 

  • Eligibility Criteria

    For enterprises    

    • Enterprise must have an active CR/license 
    • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA 

    For employees   

    • Employee must be a Bahraini national 

    For mid-level jobs:    

    • Minimum wage for mid-level jobs is BHD 800  
    • The employee must have at least 4 years of work experience 
    • Employee must be employed in a supervisory or managerial role reporting directly to the senior management or executive leadership.  

    For executive jobs:  

    • Minimum wage for executive jobs is BHD 2,000  
    • The employee must have at least 6 years of work experience 
    • Employee must be employed in an executive or senior management role reporting directly to the enterprise Chief Executive or Board of Directors.  

    For promotions track: 

    • The minimum wage for the employee should be BHD 1500 
    • The employee’s wage increment should be between 5%20%
    • The employee must have at least 4 years of work experience 
    • The employee must be employed at the enterprise for at least 12 months  
    • It is required to promote the existing employee within the enterprise to leadership or managerial positions to obtain wage increment support
  • Support Mechanism

    Employment Track: We will support 50% of the wages of new employees in mid-level and executive positions as per the approved cap amount for a period of 24 months.  

    Promotions Track: We will support 100% of the wage increment for a period of 24 months as per the approved and allocated cap amount.
