Tamkeen Enhances Employee Growth with Wage Increments At Amakin for More than 40 Employees
The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) announced its support for the wage increment for more than 40 Bahraini employees at the Bahrain Car Parks Company (Amakin) through the “Wage Increment” program, which aims to promote the career development of Bahraini professionals working in the private sector. Additionally, several employees have benefited from other support initiatives, such as the National Employment Program, the Leadership Employment Program, and the Training Support Program.
Tamkeen’s support for Amakin aligns with its strategic priorities for 2024, focused around three main pillars: creating quality employment opportunities, supporting the career growth of Bahrainis in the private sector, and supporting private sector enterprises, thus contributing to sustainable economic growth.
On this occasion, Mr. Khalid Al-Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen commented: “We are pleased to play a part in the development of local talent at Amakin through various support programs such as the Wage Increment Program and the Leadership Employment Program which aligns with Tamkeen’s mandate of making Bahrainis the preferred choice for employment. These initiatives will support the company’s expansion objectives, enhance the delivery of advanced quality services, and create more employment opportunities for local talent.”
